One of the Spring 2020 trends that took street style by storm was the oversized fluffy dress.
It is time to put our fitted dresses aside and opt for more loose fitting kind of dresses.
Cecilie Bahnsen, the Danish fashion designer, pioneered and brought to the catwalks the “girly girl” style dress and the influencers were all over this trend.
You could see the “suited up” girls, but the majority of Copenhagen, was rocking the fluffy dress trend. Mainly in monochrome tones, as in whites, it showed intrinsic embroidered details:
Cecilie delivered a message, that looser is better.
Personally I love the fluffy dresses trend for Spring 2020. It just makes me wanna twirl in them all day long. The length tends to be midi, as in a bit below the knee and the sleeves, the puffier, the better.
Because I’m always on the lookout for the next trend, I went looking around for options that would not break our bank and I found these at Zara.
Some of the dresses have embroidered details that give them a special touch. You can style these dresses with sneakers, gladiator sandals and if the in right color, cowboy boots.
I’m really into the practicality of these dresses. They are versatile enough that you can take them from day to the evening and still feel well dressed.
Normally made out of cotton poplin or a lighter woven cotton, this dress does not feel heavy at all. A free, lightweight feeling is what this trend is all about.
