Summer is almost here and hopefully the corona virus will give us a break and we can go back to our routine and our normal lives.
Whilst quarantined, we are getting a bit tired of being at home. We fill ourselves with junk food – hello – and at the end of the day it feels like we weren’t productive enough even though we got done a lot. However, there are some aspects in our lives that maybe is being put a bit to the side. For me for example is working out.
If you are looking into start working out at home, super, I’m right there with you. I am, however, gaining the courage to leave the desk for 30 minutes and do some exercises. In my brain I think that things will pile up, getting left to do and stress is something I don’t need now. I already have my hands full trying to entertain a toddler and work at the same time.
However on my coffee breaks, I put on my favorite playlist and dance. I dance until I feel more relaxed and in one of my sessions that normally lasts between 20 to 40 minutes, I’ve considered incorporating some exercises. This in order to make up for that wasted time, and hopefully, get back in shape.
So I started looking into home workout videos on YouTube. Among them I found these that I added below, and would I thought I would share them with you. Maybe it will inspire you? – just click on the image to go watch the videos.
Are you considering starting working out and to lead a healthier life but you need a little push? So you should definitely check out this post where I have shared 5 simple steps to achieve your dream body.
In my opinion, the difficulty of getting back into shape is really psychological, and that can be maneuvered by changing our mindset with the change of habits, build a new routine and finding out that discipline is the key.
Are you ready to begin your change, but you don’t know where to start? Well here I can definitely help. When I think about home workouts, I think of training equipment. A couple of dumbbells, a yoga mat also maybe a sandbag?
I do hope you enjoy my selection, I find it really cute!
Do share your experience during the quarantine. Are you also looking to a life change and start working towards your goals?
